About Downtown Art Sunday
This event brings together nine downtown art spaces for a day of art with special programming. The OAC Riffe Gallery will offer a hands-on art activity with artist and emeritus educator Kurt Reichert from 1-3 p.m. Free and open to the public.
About Art Educators as Artists
The Ohio Arts Council's (OAC) Riffe Gallery presents Art Educators as Artists, an exhibition of works
created by members of the Ohio Art Education Association, November 1, 2018 - January 5, 2019.
The OAC's Riffe Gallery in collaboration with the Ohio Art Education Foundation presents a juried
exhibition showcasing 46 art educators as artists. Members of the Ohio Art Education Association
divisions of Elementary, Middle, Secondary, Higher Education, Museum, Supervision Policy and
Administration, and Emeritus were invited to participate. Exhibition jurors include Carol Stewart, Elsie
Sanchez, and Michael Seiler. View a list of participating artists.
About the Riffe Gallery
The Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery showcases the work of Ohio's artists and the collections of the state's museums and galleries. The OAC Riffe Gallery is located in the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts, 77 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio, 43215.
Hours: Mon., Tue., Wed., Fri.10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Thurs. 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Sat.11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Closed Sundays and state holidays. Riffe Gallery will be closed November 12, November 22, December 24-25, and January 1.
