Parents Urged to Choose ‘Step Up To Quality’ Back-to-School Child Care
With another school year starting, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) reminds parents that the number of child care providers with a star rating in the state’s child care quality rating system continues to climb.
This month, thousands of Ohio school children will be heading back to school. For many of these students their day starts and ends by riding a school bus. The safety of the students riding to and from school and to school-sanctioned events is top priority.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced that, in conjunction with the Ohio Children’s Hospital Association, he will host an event called Building Resiliency: A Pediatric Mental Health Summit in September to help communities support the mental health needs of their children.
