The Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) funds to Ohio's county boards of developmental disabilities for services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
These services include, but are not limited to, residential support, early intervention, family support, adult vocational, community employment services, facilitating self-support, and the administration of services and support.
The department provides funding for waiver programs that enable people to live and receive services in community residential settings. The department provides residential support services, 24-hour care, behavioral supports, therapy, and medical services for individuals living in state developmental centers.
