State of Ohio Changes to Ohio.gov

The New Ohio.gov

Welcome to the new Ohio.gov. In addition to a new look, we've added some new ways to find information while keeping the things you have grown accustomed to seeing on Ohio.gov.

We hope you find the new Ohio.gov to be informative, useful, and interesting. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know via the Ohio.gov feedback survey.

Familiar Organization

All of the familiar sections remain from the prior version of Ohio.gov, including:

• Agency press rooms
• Search
• Help center
• News
• Features
• Agency forms

Easier Access to Information

The existing content has been improved to make information and services more accessible. The former Resident customer group has been broken up into Living, Working & Employment and Education topics. The former Visitor customer group has changed to Tourism & Recreation topics. In addition:

• Online services are now highlighted on the Information and Services page.
• The navigation has been flattened so that more of the valuable information and services are available in fewer clicks.
• The readability of the entire site has been improved.

New Features

More has been added to give multiple ways to effectively use Ohio.gov to locate State of Ohio information and services.

• How do I...? contains commonly asked questions with answers and organized according to the main Ohio.gov topics.
• Contact information for all branches of government has been moved to the home page. It can be found in the tabbed section where Governor Strickland is pictured.
• Ohio.gov features the panoramic photography of Thomas R. Schiff. More information can be found at the Photo Credits page.
